Potol Mishti Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Pointed gourd (potol) - 250 grams
  • Kheer (thickened milk) - 200 grams
  • Raisins - 5 grams
  • Green cardamom - 4-6
  • Sugar - 250 grams
  • Ghee - as needed
  • Bread - 2 slices

Preparation:

  1. Peel the pointed gourd, cut both ends, remove the seeds, and slice it.
  2. Prepare the filling by mixing kheer, cardamom, raisins, and a little sugar.

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Stuff the pointed gourd with the filling and seal the ends with bread.
  2. Fry the stuffed pointed gourds in ghee until golden brown.
  3. Cook the fried pointed gourds in sugar syrup over low heat.
  4. Cool and serve.
